Job Purpose:
Provides accounts services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring finances, planning of payments and liaising with the client.
Duties:
- Lead a team of 4 that have primary responsibility for transacting sales ledger and purchase ledger.
- Purchase ledger support as necessary the team to process and match purchase invoices and credit notes for all suppliers.
- Subcontractors support the team to process / match invoices in line with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) regulations, update statements and send.
- Sales ledger support as necessary the team to process sales invoices and credit notes for all clients in accordance with schedules of rates.
- Support completion of the monthly payroll run
- Credit Control lead the credit control function working closely with our primary clients (6 Housing Associations) to ensure timely settlements of accounts.
- Support the preparation of the Management accounts with accruals, prepayments and general reconciliations.
- Fair FX/Equals credit card (expenses) to process receipts and reconcile the credit card account on SAGE. To top up all credit cards on a weekly basis.
- Bank reconciliation to reconcile via SAGE our bank accounts.
- Support the completion of monthly payroll
- Produce weekly/monthly reports for management.
- Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Reporting skills, administrative writing skills, Microsoft Office skills, managing processes, organisation, analysing information, professionalism, problem solving, supply management, inventory control and verbal communication.
Experience Required:
- AAT Qualification preferable but will consider QBE
- 2+ years' experience of leading a small team.

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
