Client Relationship Executive | 12-month contract | St. Albans | £35-40k depending on background.
We are recruiting a Client Relationship Executive for our client based in St. Albans, who are a multi-service law firm known for delivering clients outstanding service and our award-winning legal advice.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract working with the marketing director/client experience director on a new initiative focused on developing 'trusted advisor' relationships with a number of our clients existing SME Clients and identifying and targeting new SMEs.


The basics:


  • Salary: £3540k depending on background

The responsibilities:


  • Gaining a deeper understanding of our existing 'trusted adviser' clients by researching key attributes such as, strategy, contacts, their potential legal service needs and revenue.
  • Developing client solutions and collaborating with internal teams to deliver in line with client needs this includes bringing internal teams together and making the connection (based on trust and a true understanding of our client's needs) between our services (Lead Partner) and the client.
  • With the Lead Partner develop a plan to build relationships and establish/strengthen credibility in key service areas
- set targets including relationship, work type and financial KPI's
- identify how to communicate effectively with the client to understand their needs and demonstrate interest

  • Report progress and update your colleagues on key relationships, client business and sector trends
  • Support HR to identify the training and development needs of the team to support their role as trusted advisers
  • Work with the internal stakeholders to understand the potential for the existing client or target to join the trusted adviser programme
  • Roll out the trusted adviser programme to build relationships and trust with new clients

The skills:


  • Previous experience in a client management role
  • Good level of knowledge of developing and retaining key client relationships
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and a good level of analytical skills
  • IT literate (experience of using different systems at a proficient level)
