Reporting to Operations Manager
Summary of Role
We are local, friendly engineering company, with engineers working UK wide.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to assist in the provision of an accurate and punctual parts/stores service to external customers.
Main Duties
The Main duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Booking goods in and out utilising our inhouse system
- Accuracy of kitting to sales orders and bills of materials
- Booking couriers and ensuring goods are delivered effectively
- Performing regular stock checks
- Dealing with customers to provide parts quotations, take orders and final processing
- Maintaining the organisation and general tidiness of the stores
Essential Work Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in IT
- A great team player who loves to excel at their role
Person Specification
- A positive attitude, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to be a hardworking team player, but also to work autonomously
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Friendly, flexible, reliable, honest and enthusiastic
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Hours: 9am-3pm, Mon-Fri, (30mins lunch)
33 days holiday p.a.
Pension
