Executive Assistant - Any GTUK location outside of London can be considered

The EA role provides right-hand support to partners/director, dedicated to assisting them to achieve their business objectives and wider firm contribution.

The EA will have proven experience working as a high performing assistant as well as the tasks highlighted below. The EA will be confident, an excellent communicator and a strategic thinker. They will take the initiative to overcome obstacles which impact the business.

The EA will be expected to be one step ahead and constantly seeking to add value/increase contribution. The EA should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral). The EA will be expected to not only highlight business problems or bottlenecks but also provide solutions.

A look into the role

As an Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Facilitate the business development strategy for the service line leads through understanding the key targets. Ensuring the meetings are booked in and all next steps are followed up to create a regular schedule of business development meetings
  • Is actively aware of Partner's workload on client projects, having sufficient knowledge to keep projects moving in the partners absence
  • Ensure good understanding of the Partner and team strategy and relevant goals, looking for opportunities to add value
  • Support partner in organisation of new partner packs, QI panels and technical interviews
  • Provides reports and management information making recommendations where appropriate reviewing the dashboards regularly
  • Utilise the firm's digital tools e.g., Introhive to pre-empt preparation for Partner meetings
  • Where relevant attend, take minutes and pursue action points that arise
  • Managing partner in box, filtering requests and where possible implement solutions to alleviate bottlenecks for partner
  • Sends communication on behalf of the partner and actively maintains partners 'to do' list and consolidate and follow through
  • Act as People Manager to other support this includes performance reviews, coaching and performance improvement plans etc

Joining us as an Executive Assistant the minimum criteria you'll need is proven experience of working as a high performing PA.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.

- Excellent attention to detail- Super user of Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel to support delivering client reports, presentations, and proposals in line with Firm's templates and corporate style challenging others to ensure they are used consistently- Proven ability to identify problem/bottle necks and propose/implement solutions- Recognised as a role model in displaying the firm's values- Embraces and understands the need for change- Strives to understand the bigger picture and the changing needs of the business- Has the ability to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions to problems- Strong interpersonal skills, able to adapt communication style as required
