Web Developer


Location:
Dundee (Hybrid working), ideally 3 days in the office per week but open to discussions around flexibility.


Denholm are delighted to be working in partnership with an award-winning digital design, development and marketing agency based in Dundee who are currently looking to expand their team by bringing in multiple web developers.

This is due to the project plansin place for some of their historic clients along with wins in new business is making 2023 an exciting year

This was a conscious decision made by the owners at the time after the pandemic to help align with their employeesto reach a common goal and ensure employees have a say in the direction of the company.


Due to their varying tech stack and their culture, there are plenty of opportunities for learning and development in this role.

As an example, the client are currently putting their team through React Native training which you will also get the opportunityfor.


Requirements:


  • Computer Science or relevant degree
  • Open to graduate level applicants but will need to showcase knowledge and an aptitude to learn.
  • Over a years experience working in an agency or clientside experience in the digital industry would be ideal.
  • Proficiency in WordPress and PHP development is required; skills in.
NET, React, and app development are a plus.


Responsibilities include:


  • The creation and execution of web and app projects for clients, including ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's specifications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing input and support, anticipating and fulfilling client needs, and adding value wherever possible
  • Lead client meetings and effectively communicate uptodate results and new ideas
  • Support the team in identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Be able to thrive in a fastpaced environment, making decisions, analysing data, problemsolving, and generating new ideas
