Position Overview:
Wee are seeking a dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide compassionate care and support to an individual in the comfort of his own home.
As a key member of our team you will assist him with daily tasks, offer companionship, and ensure their well being while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
Responsibillites:
- Assist the service user with personal care tasks including daily showing, grooming and dressing
- Engage the service user in meaningful conversations and activities, fostering companionship and emotional support.
- Accompany the service user on outings and holidays.
- Cary out all complex need tasks for which you'll receive full training for.
- Keep detailed records of care provided and report any changes in the service users condition to the appropriate person.
- You will be working on a 2:1 staffing ratio and will be working either hour days or 3 nights on a rotational basis.
Requirements:
- Good sense of humour and compassionate nature
- Flixibiity to works both days and nights
- Genuine interest in football and cooking
- Willingness to accompany service user on holidays
- Experience in caregiving is preferred but not essential
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to varying needs and situations with patience and empathy.
