Associate Research Scientist - Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care

As an Associate Research Scientist, this appointment will be covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the University and Columbia Postdoctoral Workers-UAW Local 4100.

Preferred Qualifications:
Desired skill sets include but are not limited to: Bioinformatics, Phylogenetics/population genetics/evolution biology (e.g. BEAST), Genomic epidemiology, Clinical epidemiology, Biostatistics, Mathematical modeling, Spatial epidemiology, and/or Molecular biology/microbiology. Demonstrated skill in scientific writing, best demonstrated by publishing first author articles in high impact journals, is required. Relevant experience in research unit and the ability to supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
