We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Brake press Setter/Operator to join a local engineering company that is continually investing in upgrading its manufacturing processes.

The role will require the setting up and operating of CNC Brake presses (Bystronic & Edwards Pearson) whilst working and understanding blueprints and engineering drawings/plans.

This is a busy engineering site and work consists of both small and large batchworks across both the medical and aviation sectors amongst others.

Responsibilities also include managing time constraints and ensuring that any delays in the proccesses are reported along with time overuns.

Primary responsibilities are to ensure production targets are acheived by effective communication, motivation and discipline.

Feeding back to the Production Manager to improve processes and quality control and ensuring that parts are produced both efficientlyand to a high standard in line with health and safety.

Working 39hrs per week Monday-Friday day shift with overtime when available, this position is temporary to permanent (12 weeks) and there is on site parking along with a pension scheme and company workwear after a qualifying period.
