ROLE SUMMARY:
Reed & Mackay are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Head of Commercial to join our
Commercial organization. Based in London and reporting directly to the VP, TMC Strategy, this role will
play a pivotal role in shaping and executing R&M's commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and
exceptional leadership skills to drive forward our commercial efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commercial Strategy: Working with Commercial leadership in the development and implementation of
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue generation through effective commercial strategies, stakeholder
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
- Commercial Leadership: Provide strategic direction to the commercial team, setting ambitious targets,
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer/supplier preferences to
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally
- Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets/forecasts, pricing
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and lead a highperforming commercial team, fostering a collaborative
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on commercial
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, developing successful commercial strategies, and
- Strong understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer/supplier behaviour within
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across
- Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate, communicate, and execute a clear commercial strategy.
- Resultsdriven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to inform strategic decisions.
- A proactive, innovative, and adaptable approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven track record of at least 10 years in a senior commercial leadership role within the travel, travel
technology, aviation and/or hospitality sectors
