Location:
Head Office - High Wycombe - Hybrid Role - 2 days home working
Janssen is recruiting for a Head of Medical Information and Records, located in High Wycombe, UK.
This role will shape and deliver the strategy for how Medical Information contributes to the overall Janssen UK strategy.
Additionally, this role will provide oversight and support to the Medical Compliance Manager in their provision of Medical Compliance and Record Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Information
- Represent the team and challenge internal stakeholders so that the MI contributions and needs are understood and the function contribution is maximised
- Manage the MI team on day to day activities including: rota management, enquiry and phone work distribution, product responsibilities, and HR needs e.g. performance management and holiday agreements
- Prepare, review and lead budget and Business Planning activities
- Continually evaluate MI Processes and Procedures to deliver
Medical Information Process Excellence:
including new and appropriate SOPs and supporting documentation.
- Continuously improve the service levels and customer care provided by the team by proactively seeking and acting upon customer feedback and by benchmarking against competitors
Customer and Competitor Insights
- Prepare the planning and delivery of Medical Information insights as inputs to overall business strategy.
Project and Change Management
- Lead the change to implement and embed new practices for global/regional projects that impact on Medical Information and Medical Compliance.
External Collaborations
- Represent Janssen UK on external bodies (such as PIPA or DIA) to ensure standard processes are improved and findings shared.
- Help drive Industrywide change through sharing of Janssen innovation and takeaways
MSL Medical Information Collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of External Engagement to ensure that all MSLs are trained on medical information enquiry handling processes and are audit ready with respect to all relevant procedures.
Medical Compliance
- Provide secondline leadership and direction to the Medical Compliance function.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in bioscience, pharmacy, or medicine or equivalent experience
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 4+ years of relevant industry background
- Line management experience
- Strong Project management expertise
- Process improvement experience a plus
