We have an exciting opportunity in our department for someone with a passion for providing excellent customer service and administrative support, looking to use their skills to provide a welcoming, professional and efficient service to make a positive impact on customers and in-person visitors.


As Business Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • the smooth running of a busy Reception
- working together with the Business Support team to effectively and efficiently process a high number of in-person and electronic customer enquiries
- providing exceptional customer service


You will have:

- previous experience of working in a busy reception/administrative environment
- excellent IT skills
- experience of learning new systems
- the ability to multitask
- excellent time management skills


You will work within the IT Services Business Support Team and are responsible to the Business Support Manager, located within the Office of the IT Director.

We provide administrative and secretarial support to the rest of the department and the executive team.


Based at our Sheffield campus, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative support duties, including receiving visitors to our reception desks, finance administration, mobiles administration, taking deliveries, covering switchboard, and arranging travel and accommodation for our staff.
