Both companies have been trading for more than 40 years and have a reputation for exceptional customer service as well as consistently excellent products.


Head of Marketing

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support Viande Group's growth objectives.
  • Utilise customer insights to refine messaging, language, and media selection to effectively engage existing and prospective clients.
  • Generate leads for the sales teams through targeted marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Generate sales tools to support the sales teams through their engagement with customers at each stage of the sales cycle.
  • Oversee all communications to our target markets, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across various channels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Take projects through each step from an initial idea through to development, execution and measurement / review on time and in budget
  • Develop thought leadership content to position the business as a leader in its market
  • Develop and execute a PR strategy that positions the company at the front of mind within our existing and prospective customers
  • Brief and onboard marketing agencies as and when required.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new product launches, overseeing all aspects from concept development to market introduction.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and launch new product brands, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demand.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and brand expansion.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support the introduction and promotion of new products, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of new product launches, making adjustments as necessary to optimize results and drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of new product initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience across various disciplines, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decisionmaking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience in the food service industry or wholesale business is preferred but not required.

Salary:
£40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
