Description

Define and performance manage the chemicals program.

Performance management of chemical vendors.
Responsible for production chemicals budget, including identification and progression of cost

optimisation opportunities.

Independent technical advisor on production chemistry risk management.
Primary interface with key disciplines regarding chemical treatments across well operations,

integrity and production operations.

Ensure compliance with and maintain company practices and procedures.

present business cases for these to asset leadership teams.

Functional lead for facilities modifications and management of change relating to production

chemistry.

Responsible for fluids sampling and analysis program.
Technical focal point for chemical contract management.

Desired Qualities/Qualifications:

Minimum of an honours degree or equivalent in a Chemistry or Engineering discipline.

Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Engineering (MEng) preferred.

Advanced knowledge and experience of production chemistry (10+ years' experience).
Technical expertise in several areas related to the discipline including chemical selection,

optimisation, laboratory management, analytical techniques, chemical risk management,

corrosion mechanisms, corrosion management and well treatments.
