Description

Due to continued growth we are looking for a Goods-In Team Leader, paying £27,580 per annum.

As a Goods-In Team Leader you will be reporting in to the Warehouse Manager.

Fixed Late Shift
Monday to Friday, 2pm 10pm

As the Goods-In Team Leader you will be responsible for the following:

Stock integrity
Location Management
Replenishment
Receipt Management

Core Duties as the Goods-In Team Leader will include:

Manage and work as part of the morning goods in team and process ensuring all deliveries are received and booked in on time
Manage the picking team, ensuring all orders are completed correctly and on time in order to reduce the workload on the afternoon shift
Ensure picking priorities are adhered to allowing the process to flow
Monitor and check goods in & receipting procedures are adhered to
Develop Warehouse operative skillset
Record staff development using individual training records
Overall stock management, ensuring stock is replenished into the Warehouse when there is adequate space
Make suggestions for improved warehouse layout/footprint ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and any other local legislative compliance.
Hold daily meetings with the goods in team to ensure everyone is aware of the daily priority and instill motivation
Willingness to flex hours with regards to the requirements of role
Ensuring Warehouse equipment is maintained inline with safety procedure and policy, scheduling maintenance checks of equipment Complying with H&S regulations in all aspects
Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager where needed and appropriate

Experience required:

Experience of working in a fast paced, preferably warehouse or transportbased environment
IT competent with a good level of knowledge within MS Excel
A forklift licence is essential
Capable of working from own initiative whilst also following process and procedure
Good attention to detail
Willing to learn & positive attitude
