What will you be doing?

  • Lead Sustainability management position responsible to leverage our Total Waste Management business across the UK working with the Industrial, Water and Energy operational business.
  • Keeping up to date with waste legislation and upcoming changes which may impact TWM clients.
  • Identifications of risks and opportunities for challenging waste streams
  • Liasing with the Hazardous Waste and Commercial Team to develop optimised solutions for TWM clients.
  • Create innovative projects for TWM barriers to entry and high cost of change for clients to minimise contract renewal losses by 5% per annum.
  • Attending internal stakeholder meetings to bridge the gap to TWM operations to ensure awareness and development.
  • Ensure TWM business is aware of and is in compliance to waste legislation and changes to legislation

What are we looking for?

  • Detailed waste management background with knowledge of hazardous waste desirable
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • COTC, Membership IWM beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of the recycling market preferred
  • Self motivated with excellent organisational skills
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
