A look into the role

As a Transformation Associate Director within our Consulting practice, you will be involved in the following:

Business Development:

  • Work with Partner, Carolyn Hicks, the Head of Transformation to shape, drive and execute on our go to market strategy, growing our business relationships and opportunity pipeline.
  • Work with the Carolyn and the wider Business Consulting leadership team to achieve of our strategy and wider ambitions and plans for growth.
  • Develop and foster positive relationships with our clients and wider external network in a trusted advisor capacity.
  • Build your brand, internally and externally through networking, marketing and other eminence supporting business development activity.
  • Support and lead on specific marketing and business development activity in contributing to proposals and pitch documents, to leading on creating insights, market analysis, and thought leadership.

Client work/growing our people:

  • Lead teams to help clients shape their transformation vision and plans, including identifying the opportunity for change, the value drivers that will make it successful, and defining the roadmap for change.
  • Lead teams of people to provide handson Program Management capabilities on largescale transformation and for our varied clients across a range of industries.
  • Lead and coordinate workstreams, setting the pace and momentum for change on your client work.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Project, Program or Portfolio management offices in overseeing and architecting and directing change and transformation.
  • Play a key role in talent development and people management in the team.
  • Maintain oversight and awareness of the commercial aspects of our projects and wider team activity in assuring best outcomes for our clients and the firm.
  • Own and take full accountability for ensuring compliance with our quality and risk management processes. Always operate with the highest degrees of integrity, remain mindful of potential risks and issues, and proactively flag or address these.
  • Understand and take an active role in the financials of the team including feeding into the preparation of budgets and forecasts, achieving annual revenue targets, and wider performance indicators, including commercial KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and working capital management.

Joining us as a Transformation Consulting Associated Director, you will need to have a range of skills:

  • Business development experience in a consulting environment including proposition development
  • Extensive years' experience of managing the delivery of different types of complex Programmes, within a consultancy
  • Working knowledge and experience across multiple sectors and industries, not limited to one area e.g., technology
  • Experience in the development and delivery of strategy, associated implementation roadmaps and plans, business cases, and operating and governance, including TMO (Transformation Management Office) structures for large transformation and change Programmes. Including target operating model design, organisational design and reorganisation, cost base rationalisation, and strategy development and mobilization
