Book Printing UK does exactly what it says on the tin, we print books and we print them extremely well, part of that is down to our Pre-Press team who plays a crucial role in ensuring every job is meticulously prepared for production.

If you have proficiency in Adobe software and seek a role that allows you to contribute to the design process without requiring extensive creativity, this position is an ideal fit for you.

Your Mission:

As a Pre-Press Technician, your role is crucial in ensuring that every file is meticulously prepared for printing. From fine-tuning formatting to conducting thorough checks, you'll be instrumental in maintaining print quality.

And yes, there's room for creativity too, especially when crafting bespoke cover designs to bring our clients' visions to life.

What We're Looking For:

Experience with InDesign and Adobe software is essential.
Demonstrated experience in commercial or personal projects showcasing your prepress skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word for effective layout and document formatting.
Bonus points for prior prepress design experience.
Above all, we value attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and staying composed under pressure.
