Are you looking for a stable career within the Food Manufacturing industry? Are you a creative thinker, with an eye for detail?

We are working with a leading Food Manufacturer in Leeming Bar looking to add an experienced NPD Technologist to their Development team, creating new concepts for the industry and taking responsibility for several large branded accounts.

Within the position you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Manufacture of concept samples
Generation of new production ideas
Create Concepts in the Kitchen and Pilot Plant
Artwork approval
Manage, attend and closeout trials and pilot plant trials as required
Ensure all samples sent are done so at minimum cost and arriving on time and in good condition
Ensure Customer policies are updated and adhered to during product development
Act as the key development contact point to the customer accounts
Managing development projects from ideation through to industrialisation

To be considered for the position you must meet some, if not all of the following criteria:

Hold a degree in a food Science or technical / quality related discipline
Have a genuine passion for the Food industry
Hold a minimum of 2 years within an NPD based role
Be technically focused and highly motivated
Be able to display excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
