ProTalent are currently working with a well-established and hugely respected accountancy practice to recruit a Research and Development Tax Director for their team in the South East.

The role:


  • Working as an R&D Corporate Tax Director for Kreston Reeves, you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Tax.
  • You must have experience in and have detailed knowledge of all aspects of the UK tax regime for Research & Development relief.
  • You will also have a sound grasp of other business tax matters to not only help ensure clients are fully tax compliant but to also identify tax planning opportunities.
  • With a huge variety of clients, the successful applicant will build exposure and gain valuable technical experience

The applicant:


  • Educated to degree level
  • Experienced (5 years+) in working with the UK regime for R&D Tax Relief CIOT qualified with 3+ years post qualification.
  • Experienced in advising a broad range of clients including owner managed businesses, private equity backed businesses, large corporates and multinationals from a range of industry sectors.
  • Excellent at establishing and maintaining client relationships.
  • A team player.
  • A confident networker.
  • Capable of coaching and developing a team.
  • Confident at building a business and securing client fees.
