Norwich, Norfolk:

Conrad Consulting is currently recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our client in Norwich.

Our Client:
well established engineering in surveying practice.

Projects:
Commercial, Residential and Industrial

Company Headcount:

Role of the Senior Building Surveyor:

Conducting site inspections and preparing detailed reports on building conditions, defects, and remedial works required.
Managing and overseeing construction projects, including cost estimates, project schedules, and contract administration.
Conducting building surveys and preparing detailed reports on building conditions, defects, and remedial works required.
Conducting negotiations with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Carry out duties under the CDM Regulations 2015 as Principal Designer.

Requirements of the Senior Building Surveyor:

Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or related field.
MRICS qualified.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in building surveying or construction management.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, planning legislation, Party Wall matters, CDM regulations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Ability to be selfmotivated and work within contract deadlines.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on time and within budgets.
Proficient in the use of building surveying software, CAD, NBS and other relevant tools.
