Successful manufacturing business situated in Brandon is looking to appoint an Operations Manager. You will oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations for 2 sites.

Your main duties will consist of the following:

  • Accurately plan and draw up a production schedule.
  • Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
  • Business KPI's, targets and objectives achieved
  • Ensure that the company quality standards are maintained.
  • Accurate/appropriate levels of personnel in place to meet production
  • Ensure that production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers.
  • Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
  • Monitor production rates and product standards and implement quality control programs
  • Maintain and develop good customer relationships.
  • Quality product being always produced in line with customer expectations.
  • Effective processes in place to minimise rework.
  • Safe working environment always maintained.
  • Skilled and motivated workforce/contract personnel
  • In conjunction with HR department, effective recruitment campaigns carried out to ensure sufficient staff availability at all times.


You will be an experienced Operations Manager with a manufacturing or construction background with ability to lead and manage the operational responsibilities of the business and understand information, data patterns, trends etc.

and report back to the ProductionManager/Directors to make effective decisions.

You will ideally have the ILM qualification, good knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and strong interpersonal skills, influencing, persuading, coaching and negotiation skills.
