I am recruiting for a school based in Hayes, Middlesex that is looking for a Finance Business Lead to join their Management Team.
The job purpose is to act as the leading business professional in the school and work as part of the wider leadership group.
To strategically lead the Academy's financial business management functions and to be accountable for the planning, development, and delivery of the Finance function.
To include:
Strategic Financial Planning, Financial Resource Management, Administration Management of Financial Staff, Management Information Systems and Letting Income
Essential skills:
- Experience of leading and line managing a team, including skills in recruiting, coaching, and developing staff.
- Experience of writing and managing budgets
- Experience of computerbased accounting procedures, budget setting, monitoring, and preparing financial reports.
- Experience of marketing and income generation
- Experience of leading and managing health and safety, site safety is desirable
- Experience of working within a leadership team
Personal qualities:
- Leadership including excellent line management skills,
- Ability to present and engage with a range of different audiences
- Commercial acumen
- Able to manage change effectively
- Be a critical and analytical thinker
- Project Management
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Excellent knowledge of ICT systems
- Well development oral, written and presentation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of financial management, relevant legislation as it applies to schools.
