Senior Children's Therapeutic Care Practitioner

Salary:
£29,120 - £32,045 full time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, operating on a flexible shift pattern

including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleep per week (included in salary) sleeps

Working with vulnerable children and young people you will be expected to:

  • Be aware of the aims of the home and work collaboratively with all colleagues to achieve them

As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be required to:

  • Support the care team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
  • Undertake direct work with young people as appropriate. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
  • Offer supervision and support to carers in line with quality standards & regulations, and as directed by the Registered Manager. To promote our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) approach and engage/lead weekly MDT meetings with Clinical and Education services on site.
  • Assist the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose and uphold the organisations mission statement and values.
