Part 2 Architectural Assistant

We are on the lookout for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join an Architectural practice located in Yeovil.

This RIBA practice's portfolio spans a diversity of scales and offers a range of services including Architecture, Town Planning, Landscape Architectureand Principal Designer.

This RIBA chartered practice has two offices in the UK - Yeovil and London. They currently employ over 40 members of staff that bring vibrancy, culture, and diversification to the business. With that, they have managed to build a working culture on the principlesof openness, collaboration, and diverse opinions.

With other 30+ years of experience, they have grown and built a team of talented people working in every aspect of the today's-built environment.

This Yeovil-based Architectural practice is ideally looking for someone who is highly motivated and organised with effective communication skills; has some knowledge of the construction realm and is eager to develop this skill base; and has an interest in sustainable,low-carbon building technologies.

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant, they actively support you in developing your Architectural skillset, by allowing you the opportunity to work on projects that you require.

Their project portfolio is comprised of a private dwelling, low-rise residential, high-rise residential, Masterplanning, healthcare, commercial & industrial, education & community, hospitality & leisure.

The Role:
Part 2 Architectural Assistant

AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup.
Revit would be a bonus
Building regulations.
Technical specifications, and tender packages.
Onsite experience is beneficial
Attend and aid with site appraisals, surveys, client meetings and site inspections.
Motivated and eager to enhance Architectural skillset.
Understanding of the RIBA stages.
Work on a variety of projects residential, commercial, educational, etc.
Carry out CDM designer responsibilities.
Ensure the highquality delivery of written and drawn information.
UK driving license.
Huge scope to grow with the business
Part 3 support.

The salary for this position is £24K - £29K (DOE).
