Description

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work cooperatively as part of the HR administration team, covering absence, vacancies and supporting colleagues at times of heavy workload.
  • Assist in the production and advertising of job packs across the Trust using our ATS, liaising with external recruitment providers as required.
  • Ensuring the appropriate staff are set up on external systems to allow them to undertake tasks within their own roles.
  • Assist in the drafting of contracts of employment, variation letters and any other written correspondence to staff.
  • Maintain the Trust's HR database (Zellis Resource link) to ensure staff records are kept up to date.
  • Maintain personnel files and records to ensure that they are kept in a comprehensive and accurate manner, whilst observing statutory General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Inputting Trust staff absences and informing the appropriate line managers.
  • Liaise with the Trust payroll service to ensure that new starters, leavers and amendments to contracts are progressed with strict deadlines.
  • Support with the arrangements for the induction and probation process for support staff new starters within the Trust.
  • Producing weekly vacancy updates for the individual school bulletins.
  • Responsible for arranging interviews for Trust recruitment.
  • Assisting the HR & Payroll Operations Manager with collating data for audits.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider work of the HR team, including project work and adhoc pieces of work as directed by the Chief People Officer HR Managers and HR & Payroll Operations Manager.
  • Undertaking any other duties which may be reasonably regarded as within the nature of the duties and responsibilities of the post.
  • Collating the monthly payroll, submitting info to the payroll bureau and responding to any queries that arise.
