Mechanical Engineer
- Location: Hatfield (AL10)
- Salary: £39,693 Per Annum
- Contract Type: Permanent
What you'll be doing
- Provide rapid response to all MHE breakdowns.
- Programming of relevant system auxiliaries.
- Maintain PPM schedule.
- Undertake the rectification of a high volume of mechanical system faults.
- Update software and hardware as auxiliaries become obsolete.
- Monitor system diagnostics ensuring MHE is operating at the highest efficiency levels.
What you need to show us
Parts of the role operate within clearly defined guidelines, processes and procedures which need to be followed.
Judgement on day to day prioritisation of tasks, issues that need to be progressed and in some instances how best to resolve issues are exercised.
The role holder works within a highly pressured environment with various types of MHE including conveyors and telescopic booms.The MHE was installed by a number of different manufacturers and are run using PLC and different based Inverter and LMS control systems.
