We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a talented Information Security Officer to join our Group IT team The role will be predominantly working from home however, we do like to meet in person from time to time so there is a requirement to attend the Leeds office regularly on an ad-hoc basis for meetings, training etc.

The Information Security Officer is an integral and critical role in the success of IT - Shared Services in realizing its goals and objectives.

Working with the Director Group of IT, the internal Compliance team and our third-party managed service providers and therefore working with a high level of autonomy, ensuring the IT Shared Services model is consistently delivering and effectively collaborating to exceed business unit and internal customer expectations.

This role will have operational responsibilities to wider tbw and will be expected to partner with business unit leaders to stimulate and shape demand for IS solutions while ensuring delivery of these solutions is compliant and adhering to ISO standards in all company products.

As a Information Security Officer you will:

Advising in the implementation of cybersecurity and compliance
Monitoring internal compliance, informing and advising on data protection obligations
Provide endtoend engagement on technology risks
Managing an update of all of the Information Security Governing and Compliance related policies & documentation
Managing the Technology Risks and Audit findings
Internal monitoring of key IS controls and KPIs
Managing all Third Party Supplier assessments for both new business and current business relationships
Working with other teams on completing security questionnaires and providing guidance from an InfoSec perspective to the business
Delivering a cybersecurity culture and awareness program for employees
Monitoring and responding to security and privacy incidents
Implement, maintain and continuously enhance ISMS, ensuring compliance with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus frameworks and ISO2230
Support Business Continuity Management System with documentation, BIAs and BC and DR tests
Assuring compliance of key suppliers, including service desk and infrastructure teams
Supporting internal audit program by completing IS audits and supporting compliance audits as IS SME

What we are looking for in you:

Have technical ability with capabilities built on knowledge of cybersecurity technologies (ideally in a Microsoft Azure/M365 cloud environment)
Have extensive knowledge of compliance standards and regulations
Internal audit experience
Supplier management experience
