We want to hear from you The Air Partner Group is seeking an experienced HR Employee Relations specialist to join the People Team and be responsible for delivering a dedicated HR Employee Relations service to line managers.

With our diverse business offering, this is a varied role where you will play an integral part in the delivery of the Group's People Strategy.


You Will:


  • Provide full HR Employment Relations advice to line managers in the UK.
  • Take responsibility for upskilling line managers in people related activities.
  • Provide guidance on complex employment relations issues, guiding both managers and employees through the intricacies of HR processes.
  • Be responsible for case management including investigation, disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Make referrals to Occupational Health and work with managers to ensure all reasonable adjustments are put in place.
  • Ensure people records are managed effectively and in accordance with GDPR, Privacy and Data Retention Policies.
  • Play a key role in driving cultural change alongside our leadership team, contributing to a workplace that thrives on innovation and collaboration.
  • Ensure that any issues and trends that the role uncovers are fed into HR Business Partners
  • Ensure personal continued professional development is undertaken to keep up to date with latest legislative changes.
  • Plan and prioritise a demanding workload in a fastpaced environment, including multicase management and project work.
  • Aid with long term absence case management to ensure a timely return to work where appropriate.
  • Liaise and build strong relationships with the management teams across departments

  • Reviewing and updating HR policies in line with current legislation.
  • Communicating policies pertaining to HR, Compensation and benefits in conjunction with the wider HR team.
  • Supporting with Group employee engagement activities as required including the engagement survey, internal communications, and employee resource groups.
  • Supporting line managers with the recruitment and onboarding process including interviewing, drafting job descriptions and inductions.
  • Providing support with reward and recognition activities including values and long service awards.
  • At least 2 years experience of working within an HR Employee Relations role.
  • Demonstratable knowledge of Employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe packages.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and report on data.
  • Ability to manage high volumes and work under pressure.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards.
  • Practical, logical and ability to solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to multiple task and work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new skills.
  • Experience of M&A and TUPE desirable.
