Tempting Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a

local authority in

Bedfordshire, to recruit an experienced

Communications Specialist. If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,


Contract: 6 months (Possible Extension)

Salary:
£500 a day umbrella

Start Date:
March 2023

Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time (09:00am - 17:30pm)

DUTIES

  • Providing strategic advice and support to service areas, particularly on high profile projects or issues.
  • Creation and delivery of appropriate, appealing, timely and accessible communications to all target audiences.
  • Provide communications, consultation and equality support to the organisation in order to promote, protect and enhance the brand and reputation.
  • Provide intelligence about staff, communities & customers through data analysis to support service development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • Must have at least 2 years previous experience within a Communications role or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
