This position is Flexible Working, however, there will be an expectation to visit a Telent office as of when required for collaboration purposes.


What you'll do:


  • Reporting to the Service Design Manager, The Service Design / Renewals support specialist will be responsible for developing and costing service solutions as part of bid and presales proposals/tenders' responses. Working with sales, and operations, the role entails scoping the services required and engaging the operational teams to define the costs.
  • The role also requires some external customer engagement in the postsales stage, working on defining service process to agreed contractual requirements.
  • Developing renewal quotes within multiple platforms.
  • Be able to deliver validated renewal quotes to appropriate Contract Service Manager or Partner/Customers
  • Help to calculate and validate challenging quoting scenarios including multidate coterms, nonstandard deployments, billing requirements and securing necessary internal approvals.
  • Produce service process documentation, working with Customers, operations and transition teams.
  • Attending Sales / Bid calls_ _

Key requirements:


  • Experience in producing service management content for bid & presales proposals
  • Demonstrable understanding of service management and service operations, costing and commercial structures
  • Service focussed with an appreciation for understanding technical solutions
  • Experience of working with suppliers and clients at a senior level
  • Ideally Degree in appropriate discipline.
  • Very strong Excel skills
  • Strong Microsoft Visio, Word, PowerPoint skills
  • Experience of ITIL preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of working with customers and suppliers to achieve shared goals
  • Proven track record of managing complexity
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness
  • Selfmotivated and capable of working within bid and project timescales and deadlines
  • Happy to present in meetings up to and including board level
  • Ability to multitask, working on several projects at any given time
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales
