CK Group are recruiting for a Graduate Scientist to join a leading medical diagnostics company at their site based in Sunderland on a permanent basis.


The Company:


Our client are a leading medical diagnostic company with an international reputation, specialising in the design, manufacture and support of IVD analysers and reagents.


Location:

This roles are located in Sunderland, with some roles requiring travel to Gateshead.
As a Graduate Scientist, you will be working as part of ours client's haemostasis or electrophoresis groups.

We have roles available working within the following areas:
New Product Development Scientists for gel electrophoresis products. This will involve pre-assigned testing and validation protocols, identifying and investigating any detrimental trend and root cause analysis.

Continuous Development Scientists responsible for undertaking and providing a customer focused oversight for continuous product development projects within all areas of the company which have an impact on the electrophoresis product range, encompassing bothgel and capillary electrophoresis.


Your Background:


  • Degree in life sciences or related
  • Sound knowledge of haemostasis theory and methodologies
  • Knowledge of GMP/GLP standards
  • Good laboratory practice
