In Kensington and Chelsea, the environment is at the heart of everything we do.
That's why we need you to be a part of an exciting new initiative to collect and recycle food waste across the Borough, which will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The Role:
Spending the vast bulk of your time out in the community, you will engage with residents and other stakeholders such as estate managers, landlords and housing providers to secure their buy-in and ensure they understand what they need to do to recycle food waste.
In particular, you will work in a team to design and deliver food waste recycling projects, whilst preparing logistics for deliveries and monitoring food waste participation rates across the borough - so every day will bring different challenges.

About You:
We will look to you to make your mark on the food waste expansion initiative, so we require a true self-starter with great time management skills and a deep love of meeting people.
You'll also need to be a capable administrator who can maintain detailed records, but it's your commitment to the environment, your customer-facing skills and your problem-solving skills that will really set you apart.
