Description

Due to company growth, we are looking to recruit a Trainee CNC Machinist within this well-established company. Our client offers a good bonus scheme and holiday entitlement as well as generous pension scheme.

£10.90 per hour + Overtime + Company Bonus Scheme (OT = 1.5)

This role will provide training throughout however some hands on engineering understanding would be an advantage

As a Trainee CNC Machinist, you will be:
Responsible for operation, operating controls, deburring and inspection of parts to assure conformance to drawing specification

Setup and safely operate a range of engineering machines including manual vertical milling machines, manual lathe as well as training on CNC mill and machining centre.

Using hand tools and a variety of saws, punches, press tools and other bespoke equipment to process/produce highest quality components in Aluminium and Stainless Steel.

Quality checking and ensuring machine and tooling are set to machine at accurate tolerances

Maintain cleanliness of machines and own work area.

As a Trainee CNC Machinist, you will have:
Aptitude to work from drawings and sketches as well as reading and understanding manuals and specifications

Previous experience within a similar role

Aptitude to learn and progress
