Description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an already established working knowledge of a busy transport department eager to take their career to the next stage.

The role;

General system administration, ensuring jobs are closed off in full within time frames
Order entry within TMS system
Ensuring all POD's are returned & available within the system
Liaising with partner depots to ensure our daily deliveries are on track & customer informed of any potential issues
Assisting the planners with the routing of pallet network, groupage & general haulage vehicles including collection management
Covering the planners roles during times of holiday or absence
Must have willingness to learn
Be flexible during peak times & for holiday cover of the planners
Have excellent communication skills with a can do attitude
Be proficient using Outlook/Excel/Word/TMS's
