Main Purpose of Job:

Key support for our People administration processes during a busy time of change for the business


Main Responsibilities:


  • Working with defined process to Create and distribute employment contracts and other
onboarding related documents, supporting our new starter procedures

  • Updating and maintaining databases and systems with relevant people data
  • Requesting and collating references
  • Extracting data from People systems and distributing standard reports
  • Ensuring control of and access to confidential business/people data
  • Supporting Payroll administration, where required
  • Identify and suggest areas of process improvement
  • Contributing to key people initiative and supporting project activity.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role
  • Focused on delivering a quality of service
  • Analytical awareness and strong report production/presentation skills
  • Confident, and possessing demonstrable skills/experience of working with confidential
data, figures, HR & Payroll software & spreadsheets

  • Eye for detail and ability to produce detailed accurate work
  • Understanding of GDPR and the requirement to manage data with integrity and in a
confidential manner

  • Able to follow processes clearly and efficiently and take direction where necessary
  • Proactive and innovative problem solver who likes to get things done
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise defined workload effectively
whilst balancing multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong IT knowledge and intermediate to advanced level of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure & adapt to working in a fast faced, changeable
environment where no two days are the same.
