Due to retirement we have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Audiologist/Clinical Scientist with extensive paediatric experience to join the Paediatric Audiology team based at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.


The postholder is Clinical Lead for the local Paediatric Audiology service and is a highly specialist healthcare scientist with an advanced clinical role, working closely with the Paediatric Audiology Service Lead to deliver diagnostic and habilitative provision across the Hull & East Yorkshire area for babies, infants and children, that fulfils the requirements and quality standards outlined by the British Society of Audiology (BSA), Modernising Children's Hearing Aid Services (MCHAS) and the National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS).

This full time post is permanently established at 37.5 hours per week.

The successful applicant will have a key role in a developing service that aims to attain IQIPs accreditation in line with the adult service, whilst working within a busy, friendly, department responsible for providing paediatric services at modern community based Audiology clinics (East Riding Community Hospital in the historic town of Beverley & Bransholme Health Centre in Hull) and on occasion the acute Trust.
