Our client, a successful local manufacturer is currently looking to add an experienced production manager to join their team.

The production manager role is a key position that will require the successful applicant to manage the production team, ensuring thatall processes and high standards of production quality are upheld.


Job Description:


  • Responsible for managing and motivating team members
  • Ensuring that workloads are managed, and output targets and quality targets are adhered to
  • Setting team and individual objectives
  • Carry out appraisals, disciplinary and performance management plans
  • Implementing and managing continuous improvement processes
  • Keeping production and planning records updated
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead by example
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience managing a team within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of basic HR legislation
  • Good levels of IT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Full, Clean driving license

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:45 pm


Salary:
up to £45,00 per Annum
