Our client, a successful local manufacturer is currently looking to add an experienced production manager to join their team.

The production manager role is a key position that will require the successful applicant to manage the production team, ensuring thatall processes and high standards of production quality are upheld.

Job Description:

Responsible for managing and motivating team members
Ensuring that workloads are managed, and output targets and quality targets are adhered to
Setting team and individual objectives
Carry out appraisals, disciplinary and performance management plans
Implementing and managing continuous improvement processes
Keeping production and planning records updated
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead by example
Minimum 3 years of previous experience managing a team within a manufacturing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong levels of the organization
Knowledge of basic HR legislation
Good levels of IT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel
Full, Clean driving license

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:45 pm

Salary:
up to £45,00 per Annum
