Outpatient Network is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support a Gastroenterology outpatient clinic service in Oxford. The service will be to assist the Trust with increasing the throughput of patients awaiting first-attendance consultations.

The role of the Healthcare Assistant will be to support the Consultant in clinic, act as a patient advocate and ensure that patients are comfortable during any examinations that may take place.

Summary Healthcare Assistants (HCA)

Weekend service (Saturdays and Sundays) Oxford 3 months (initially) First-attendance Gastroenterology outpatient clinics 22-24 patients per room, per day Clinic times: 08:30 - 17:30 Excellent daily rate Requirements NHS experience as a Healthcare Assistants Experience in an outpatient setting is ideal, but not essential Experience in a Gastroenterology setting is ideal, but not essential
