Tayside Aviation, Scotland's premier flight school has been delivering Pilot training for 53 years.

Based in Dundee (the sunniest city in Scotland) Tayside Aviation are responsible for training commercial pilots, RAF cadets and hobby flyers with our fleet of 20 light aircraft.


Tayside Aviation are seeking a Part Time Operations and Planning Co-ordinator who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a growing team.

The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position.


Looking after our customers is key to our success, you will be the first point of contact for all our customers.

Reporting to the Head of operations and planning your role will be to ensure that our students are scheduled appropriately to ensure they successfully complete their courses on time.

Amongst other tasks you will liaise with Aircraft hirers - manage student profiles - inspection and approval of certificates warnings - aircraft daily line management - update online shop orders i.e.

Gift Vouchers - fuel reconciliation - set up New _(student_) preparation - take customers payments using Square - booking exams through the CAA portal - Flight Logger housekeeping.

You will be called upon to carry out other activities as required by the company therefore flexibility is essential

Full training with be given with continuous support to expand your knowledge and experience.

The role is Part Time 2 days a week Friday and Saturday and Holiday cover as required

You will need to possess excellent communication skills, clear and professional telephone manner as well as excellent admin skills

  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of all Microsoft Packages & willing to learn new systems
  • Ability to take payments in person and over the phone using square system
An interest or knowledge of the Aviation Industry is desirable but not required. Full training will be given.

This is an immediate start.
