Operations Assistant
Reporting to the operations manager, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
In this role, you will be occupied with ensuring the smooth running of solar PV installations and will also take on aspects of the monitoring and maintenance of existing PV systems.
The role is varied and as an enthusiastic member of the team, you will learn a great deal about the sector and the technical aspect of solar PV.
We're looking for a self-starter who's excited by the prospect of a new challengeDay-to-day duties:
- Communicating with customers regarding service visits and solar PV installations
- Working with engineers to produce maintenance reports
- Ensuring that records and databases are kept uptodate
- Daily, remote monitoring of existing PV arrays in our asset management portfolio
- Overseeing the servicing schedule and planning and arranging maintenance visits
- Keeping track of projects and working with the team to deliver services to deadlines
- Producing quotes for services and maintenance contracts
- Liaising with suppliers regarding the delivery of projects
- Administering warranty claims and arranging for product replacements
- Producing performance reports for existing PV arrays
- Producing risk assessments and method statements for installations and maintenance visits
- Liaising with energy suppliers and meter operators regarding contracts and service
What you'll bring:

- A teamfocussed attitude, with an ability to work independently
- An understanding of solar PV (not essential)
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Full and clean driving licence
