The MindMate Support Team (MMST) is an innovative and growing service that intends to deliver an accessible and inclusive service to all mainstream and alternative education provision in Leeds.

There is a shared commitment across the team around early intervention, prevention and support to work in a trauma informed way to support children young people and their families.

The MMST is rapidly expanding, and we have a goal of offering input and support to every education setting and provision by 2025.

The input into settings includes training, consultation, supervision intervention, which predominately is low intensity CBT as well as PBS, trauma focussed CBT and EMDR.

We are constantly looking for gaps that would be consistent with early help and have a drive to offer emotional literacy and emotional regulation work, adapting interventions to meet the needs of all children and young people; this includes children and young people with identified SEND needs.
