REED HR is delighted to support our client who wishes to recruit a HR, Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join their team

As a member of the HR team, this role is responsible for administering the weekly payroll & associated tasks in a timely & accurate manner

You will provide effective and efficient administrative support for the HR Department including general HR duties where appropriate as required

Prepare, calculate & process the weekly payroll in a accurate & confidential manner
Complete the weekly RTI submission, reconciliation of weekly payroll at year end and processing of
relevant documentation
Ensure accurate payment information is provided to the employment agency on a weekly basis.
Reconcile approve & process invoices for payment liaising with the Finance department as appropriate
In conjunction with the Senior Payroll & Benefits Administrator, ensure all administration in relation to employee benefits is up-to-date & processed while dealing with queries from employees or management
Ensure absence and lateness across the site is recorded in a accurate manner, updating systems
Support managers in maintaining absence records for employees ensuring all Return to Work forms are completed accurately & providing attendance information
Ensure payroll & absence databases are up to date at all times.
Ensure legislation changes are adhered to in relation to payroll and benefits, advising as necessary on policy updates
Prepare & process monthly payrolls when necessary & respond to queries from employees and managers
Complete requests for statistical information
Collect, record & report on Equality Commission monitoring information acting as Monitoring Officer for recruitment for the site & responsible for submission of annual and 3-yearly reviews
Ensure time & attendance & access control systems (Clockwise) are accurately maintained including creating new employee profiles, deactivating leaver profiles, updating holiday entitlements, assigning access rights to employees & managers & providing informationto others
Provide training in time & attendance & access control systems (Clockwise) as required.
Provide accurate information for internal/external audits in relation to working time, overtime, headcount, payroll etc.

Support the recruitment, selection & induction of employees as required to include issuing fob, registration of fingerprint, issuing handbook etc.

Assist in implementation or upgrade of new HR/Payroll systems.
Be a flexible member of the HR team and cover other roles/tasks, as required.
Be proactive in all activities of the role, engaging with others and simplifying and enhancing systems & procedures
Develop own performance by completing relevant learning and development activities.
Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with health & safety
Ensure compliance with standards and procedures to achieve accreditation and ongoing compliance
certification.
Responsible for own compliance with the Company's Data Protection Policy and Data Retention Process.
Must ensure that personal data is kept secure and processed in a lawful manner and that all activities
relating to the handling and processing of ordinary personal data, and special category data, comply with
Data Protection legislation.
Provide cover for managing the diary of the Occupational Health Nurse to include liaising with managers
and employees, issuing of relevant paperwork, booking of follow up appointments etc.
