- Edtech Publishing business
This business, a leading publisher in the Education sector, is looking to bring on an Agile Delivery Manager to work alongside their technology teams to help deliver an amazing SaaS product that engages users.
What you'll be doing
As you'll be the first hire in the business for dedicated agile delivery, it'd be more accurate to think of this role in two parts.
Firstly, you'll be acting as above, and helping the business deliver it's technology projects more effectively.Secondly, you'llbe working as an agile coach for the teams, and rather than leading them, you'll be working alongside them to enable them to work effectively even when you aren't available, by instilling principles such as Servant Leadership.
What experience you'll need:
- Confidence working with and managing the delivery of software projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Working with internal stakeholders and external users to define scope, timelines, and deliverables identified by the product teams.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for the tech teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Agile workshops for others in the business.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action as necessary, working collaboratively with the teams to minimise delay.
- Communicate project status to all stakeholders, from Csuite to Product Managers.
- Ensure that the team follows Agile best practices and processes, as well as coaching them where required.
- Continuously improve the Agile delivery process throughout the wider business.
- Qualifications in Agile practices and methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner, etc.
- Experience with Agile tools, such as Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.
While the business is operating on a remote-first basis, you will need to be located within a commutable distance of Bristol or the South-west for semi-regular tech design workshops with the teams.
What you'll get in return for your talents
A salary of up to £60,000 is on offer for this role, as well as a bonus of up to 10% based on company performance.
There is also a great benefits package to go alongside the base income including a very generous holiday allowance, a learning fund (for bothyourself and the wider team), as well as a slew of other great benefits.
