An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Lead to join the mental health team working in HMP Preston

HMP Preston is a category B local prison.

It accepts all adult male prisoners including 18-21 year olds from Crown Courts and Magistrates Courts serving Lancashire and Cumbria.

You will be required to be; innovative, flexible and able to engage clients with complex needs.

Strong team working principles are essential and you will network with a variety of people as well as work in partnership with a range of different agencies both internal and external to the prison.


This is the opportunity to develop skills and work in a difficult but rewarding environment where you will get to practice a full range of psychiatric nursing interventions, working as both part of a team and as an autonomous practitioner.
