Working as part of the regional team and managing a team in a distinct group of local retailers, the District Leader is responsible primarily for:- Achievement of the weekly and period scheduled hours for their district
- Being first point of contact for their team in their district for any queries
- Providing some limited people development and performance activities
- Completing some client activities instore as required
The Team lead is a key member of the regional field management teams and plays a key role in the delivery of the overall zone plan through taking ownership of their own districts performance as well as working cross functionally with various departments most notably the wider field team.
- Achievement of the weekly and period scheduled hours for the district o Schedule and manage callage within the region
- Find cover for at Risk Calls (calls unlikely to be completed by the SLA)
- Update comments for calls past their scheduled date
- Arrange cover for Ad Hoc Calls
- Keep Availability by region up to date
- An effective solution led manager to resolve all local issue and ensure the smooth running of the district o First point of contact for DR queries
- Contact with DRs on weekly/daily basis
- Highlighting any risks to coverage to RFM/CO
- Meetings / resolutions (store compliant / store/DR issue note taker / investigation)
- Far flung' DR management, some inductions, training etc. o Cover RFM holiday
- Cover DL holiday/Remote districts
- New Starter Checks / standards
Required
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Some people management / coaching experience is desirable
- Good team motivator
- Ability to communicate and influence people
- Proven decisionmaking abilities
- Experience of working in a team environment
Desired
- Working in a sales agency business or a remote based sales / merchandising role
- Experience in working with tactical and / or syndicated sales teams
- Retail experience from working in a grocery store environment with good knowledge of store systems and ways of working
- Experience of scheduling workloads
- Good time management skills
