Duties:


  • Pre delivery inspection of equipment
  • Use welding techniques to join metal parts together
  • Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of machinery and equipment
  • Maintain and repair machinery, ensuring proper functioning
  • Read and interpret tech manuals, diagrams, and specifications
  • Ordering parts and producing repair charge reports
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting diagrams, and schematics
  • Ability to weld using various techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.)
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer serviceoriented mindset
