The client is a market-leading B2B and B2C publisher with over 35 years experience delivering solutions to the mortgage and personal finance markets.

The company provides a knowledge hub for both the mortgage industry and consumer personal finance markets.


As a company that serves as a knowledge hub for both the mortgage industry and consumer personal finance markets, they have a number of brands carefully positioned in different markets across the mortgage industry.

They are now looking to hire for a
Reporterto join the editorial team.

This is a brilliant editorial opportunity to write for an established and respected publication, plus focus on the both B2B and B2C finance markets

This is a full time, permanent opportunity, offering hybrid working (3 days a week from their central London office) and salaries of £26k - £30k


Responsibilities:


  • Source and write news stories
  • Source Guest expert opinion/commentares/blog articles
  • Write up press releases accurately and quickly
  • Ability to prioritise stories and daily tasks to meet deadlines set by the editor and team
  • Attend annual awards, helping with preparation of copy for the sites
  • Ability to establish and foster relationships with contacts
  • Willingness to attend industry meetings, briefings, seminars and presentations
  • Attend editorial meetings ready to discuss your offdiary stories and features.

The Person:


  • 12 years' journalism experience
  • Passion for writing and news journalism with a thirst for exclusives
  • Ability to subedit copy (training offered)
  • Knowledge of social media news posting and SEO advantageous
  • Understanding of personal finance and products/market advantageous
  • CMS experience preferable though full training will be given
  • NCTJ or equivalent journalism qualification, knowledge of media law
