This is a full-time, permanent role.
Salary around £25,000


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including daily cash receipts, payments, and general ledger transactions
  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis
  • Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records to identify any discrepancies and errors
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax and accounting standards
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, as well as all other entries in the general ledger
  • Provide support for tax preparation and audits
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Preferred requirements:

  • 3+ years of work experience in bookkeeping, accounting or related field preferably within an Accountants office
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (such as Sage,QuickBooks, Xero), MS Excel, and other financial reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
