Description

Fox Morris Group are currently working to recruit an
Enforcement Officer (Animal Health). This is a
full-time role, on a
3-6 month+ contract.

This is a Hybrid Working role,
working arrangements are negotiable and flexible working also open to discussion.

Rate:
£14.17-£19.15+ per hour (negotiable dependant on experience)

Hours:37 per week

Practical experience of working with animals animal husbandry or handling; work near large animals in confined spaces,
Desirable if have worked with Trading Standards or in a similar service.

Role responsibilities

Undertake enforcement duties and contribute to the effective enforcement of animal health and welfare and trading standards legislation,
Prioritise complaints and enquiries from businesses and consumers and appropriately respond to/investigate these enquiries having regard to the Service's policies,
To gather evidence and investigate breaches of the law across the full remit of Trading Standards legislation, focussing on Animal Health and Welfare in accordance with statutory codes e.g. PACE, RIPA, CPIA,
Prepare infringement reports in a thorough and timely manner and give evidence in court when required.
