We are looking to recruit an
Accounts Administrator to work closely with a Lettings and Management team dealing with residential and student lets in Nottingham.

The post will operate primarily from our Nottingham office.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Accounts Officer and the Manager.

The team is friendly, hardworking and collaborative.

Aside from the core skills needed for the position, we are looking for somebody who can demonstrate their willingness to support those around them and lend a hand in other work when required.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily bank account reconciliations
  • Creating daily reports on rental income and highlighting discrepancies
  • Adhering to all accounts processes and developing new procedures where necessary
  • Actively being involved in the monthend processes and reporting
  • Downloading lettings bank statement and allocating all rent payments
  • Prepare Landlord statements and send to the Landlord along with all relevant correspondence and invoices
  • Prepare landlord payments
  • Update the system as to Landlord payments and update internal Landlord statement for VAT
  • Prepare annual Landlord property tax accounts as and when required
  • Upload tenancies onto the system
  • Register Deposits, instruct Deposit payments and update internal accounts as to Deposits
  • Reconciliation of supplier and contractor invoices
  • Deal with external and internal enquiries and visitors.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous accounts experience, preferably in the property field
  • Good IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • General understanding of Windows based computer packages
  • Flexible and able to prioritise workload
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Prepared to take on responsibility and work without supervision
  • Willing to pitch in where needed to help other areas of the business
  • Full driving Licence desirable but not essential
  • Experience of Expert Agent desirable but not essential.
